Here's a small sampling of some of the work we've done over the years.
FRIDAY NIGHT LIVE AT THE ROYAL ONTARIO MUSEUM
The FNLROM series is Toronto’s most unique social destination consisting of "Dinos. Drinks. DJs". ElectriCITY Events has been a partner of the Royal Ontario Museum on the highly successful Friday Night LIVE event series since its launch in Fall 2012. The series consists of 8-10 events per season. Each night embraces and brings to life a new theme through strategic partnerships with cultural institutions, festivals, programs, and artists.
Currently, cultural partnerships are advised on and established to increase promotional reach in an organic method. Talent is negotiated and secured based on specific event themes with a focus on local Toronto and Canadian music.
Cultural partnerships have included; Me to We, NOW Magazine, Scotiabank Contact Photography Festival, National Geographic, Toronto Is Fashion, Uma Nota Festival, the Mexico Tourism Board, PRIDE Toronto, and many more.
Musical artists booked have included: Fefe Dobson, Jully Black, Serena Ryder, Emmanuel Jal, members of the Barenaked Ladies, members of Broken Social Scene, members of Down With Webster, Young Empires, A Tribe Called Red, Deko-Ze, Paolo Rocco, Masetro Fresh Wes and many more!
The program has grown from 400 guests/night to well over 3000. This program has attracted press from around the world making it one of the buzziest parties in Toronto.
THE GLADSTONE HOTEL
Internationally recognized Boutique Art Hotel, the Gladstone, uniquely blends historical Victorian architecture with contemporary luxury, local culture, and a whole lot of art, making it an iconic Toronto hub. Each sold out event was treated like a theatrical production transforming the Gladstone from a venue into an unforgettable experience. The conceptual theme for the event was brought to life in every possible detail and executed through strategic planning.
"“I wanted to congratulate and thank you for putting together such a great event. The event went exactly as planned right down to budgeted numbers for sales and cost. Thank you for making this event such a success.” - Alec Badley, General Manager, Gladstone Hotel
This LAUNCH OF CANADA'S largest union
Labour Day 2013 marked the formation of a new union, Unifor, with the coming together of the Communications Energy and Paperworkers’ union and the Canadian Auto Workers. To celebrate we curated and booked musical acts, marketed (experiential, digital, print, and radio), and managed a free public concert at Nathan Phillips Square with diverse acts from all across Canada.
Over 8,500 people came out to celebrate – the UNFOR launch left a lasting impression on all who attended thus achieving our client's goal of maximizing exposure on their launch weekend.
